Ben was the first to get sick. His virus just happened to be croup.
Obviously a favorite of ours.
Tyler was next and then finally me.
Yippee!
Matt seems to escape each sickness that visits our home.
Lucky him.
Then yesterday, before Matt needed to leave for an appointment, he discovers he has two flat tires. Typically no big deal since most families have two cars. But big deal for us since we only have one at the moment. And his motorcycle was in the shop getting fixed.
Tires were ordered [won't arrive until next Wednesday].
So our only hope was to pick up his motorcycle.
Luckily Aaron came to the rescue [a very awesome friend. we are lucky to know him].
He was able to drop Matt off at the bike shop.
A little over two hours later Matt was back home.
Thank goodness because yesterday I was running a fever over 103 and I physically could not take care of the boys.
Yes, life is not going according to plan right now.
Yes, we had to cancel our fourth of July party. [sad because I love this holiday!]
Yes, we will be home bound for what seems like forever.
But I have a stellar husband who takes care of me and two beautiful boys who tell me all the time how much they love me.
Really, we are doing more than okay when we have each other.
