bowling : family progress goal.

Last year we started a fun tradition.  Every month.  At the beginning.  During the first Sunday dinner.  We discuss as a family, what goal we would like to work on for the month.  We each take turns and go around the table sharing our ideas.

Benny's ideas are mostly | no throwing balls in the kitchen | no breaking glasses | no slamming doors
Tyler's are sometimes | sit at the table during meal time | no wrestling in moms room

January, our goal was "no name calling + say one nice thing about each family member (including yourself) at the end of each day".  We evaluate each week how we are doing and at the end of the month, if we all felt like we succeeded, then we get to choose a family activity to do.

January's goal was a HUGE success.  Our activity of choice : bowling.  Benny got bored halfway through but stuck to it until the end.  My parents and little sister surprised the boys and met us at the bowling alley.  After one game, we let the boys play in the arcade area.  Nic slept most of the time, nestled in grammie's arms.

February's goal you ask?
no whining | no complaining | be happy
