sick eyes.

My little munchkin man is sick, really sick. Ben woke up last night with a fever of 101.1. Not too significant but he was burning up. I gave him tylenol and he slept the rest of the night. Today his temperature stayed around the 101 mark until...he woke up from a late nap and his temperature had sky rocketed to a whopping 102.8. He was so sad and had those sick eyes where they look up at you pleading for you to do something, anything. I took him to acute kids care and the doctor proceeded to tell me it was probably viral. He told me to bring Benny back tomorrow evening if a) his fever is still high b)nothing has presented (ie: cough, congestion, vomiting). So happy anniversary to me! Tomorrow is our five year wedding anniversary and it looks like we will be enjoying our much needed date next week. The life of a parent, doesn't get any better than this.
