bacterial meningitis.

My dad's brother, known to us as Uncle Mark, is in critical condition on the ICU floor at a local hospital. He was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis. At this time he is in a medically induced coma until the doctors can get the seizures to stop. He may also have encephalitis [inflammation of the brain] but we will not know for sure until further testing is done tomorrow. Please pray for the strength of his family and that his body will be able to fight this infection. We put our trust in the Lord and know that He will take care of us no matter what happens.
